TrackMan is the gold standard of professional golf radar, used on the PGA Tour to measure ball flight, launch angle, clubhead speed, and spin rates with military-grade Doppler radar ($20,000+). Player 1 takes the opposite approach: free, pocket-sized AI video coaching that watches your body mechanics on your smartphone.
Ball flight radar vs body movement vision
Launch monitors tell you what the club and ball did at impact: 104 mph club speed, 12-degree launch angle, 2,800 rpm backspin. But radar units do not watch your body. They cannot tell you that your right elbow tucked behind your hip on the downswing, your hips stalled early, or your head dipped during transition.
Player 1 uses computer vision to analyze your kinematic sequence and body positions. It provides the mechanical coaching you need to fix the root cause of poor launch numbers.
